Arban and the Shadows

Arban turned and saw two shadowy figures cloaked in black entering the forge. Shadows, Arban thought with dread. Shadows were dreaded throughout the land. Their bodies seemed to be made entirely of smoke and they always wore black cloaks around themselves. Arban crept down the hill and entered his room where he grabbed his knife, hunting bow, and his quiver of eight arrows that he had made himself the week before.
